Financial Literacy Month at the Museum
In support of Financial Literacy Month, the Museum will be running activities for its youngest visitors throughout November. They’ll discover currency and think about their personal financial decisions and how those decisions relate to the economy.
November 17 and 18
Money is serious, but slime is fun! Let your kids dig into slime and discover Canada’s coins. They’ll learn to recognize them and add them, all the while dabbling in slime. It’s all about letting kids discover their places in the economy. For 5 to 10-year-olds.
November 24 and 25
The Puppet Market
We’ll supply the parts and the kids will make the puppets. But in the Puppet Market, they buy the parts with play money. The catch is, they’ll need to decide what they can afford. Fun on a budget. It’s all about letting kids discover their places in the economy. For 5 to 10-year-olds.
